Installing end stops on a roller shutter ?

Installing Conical End Stops

Do you have a Roller Shutter with strap, crank or motorised control? You may want to install conical end stops on the bottom slat.

Good to know:
AvosDim stock 2 conical end stops for Roller Shutter in black or white
– Dimensions: length 40mm — base diameter 25mm

Necessary tools:

  • 1 measuring tape
  • 1 drill
  • 1 8mm bit

To start, mark your conical end stops 5cm in from the side tracks, then centre with the help of the end stop washers.

— Drill each side of the conical end stops with an 8mm drill bit
— Deburr if necessary

– Then screw fix end stops to the bottom slat.
