Compatibility
Our AvosDim wired motors are ideal for roller shutters and blinds that you want to operate from a switch. The motor is compatible with any brand of roller shutter switch (up, down, stop buttons).
Want to automate? Replace your switch with a TEL_AC400 programming clock so that your wired switch control products can operate on a schedule.
Configuration help
Choose the right power for the job:
The power of the motor is chosen according to the weight of the shutter slat curtain. This is calculated by taking the height and width measurements of the visible slat curtain.
Estimation formula
width * x height * x (weight per m² **)
* measurement in meters
** estimated slat weight: PVC (4kg / m²), aluminum (4.5kg / m²), wood (11kg / m²)
1Nm lifts approximately 2Kg. Refer to the most suitable power.
Our advice: If in doubt go for the more powerful motor, underestimating can lead to irreversible failure that is not guaranteed. Ensure recommendations are respected to preserve the life of your motor.
Motor adapters
The adaptater sets consist of a wheel and crown piece. One allows the motor to drive the tube axis during rotation while the other counts the revolutions made to mark the stop in the right place.
Choose adapters according to the motor brand, its diameter, and the tube type. If it is an identical motor replacement you will already have these, otherwise they are essential.
The adaptaters listed are compatible with octagonal 40mm tubes.
Motor supports
Motor supports are also essential to add on if required. Fixed to the end cap on the motor side of the shutter box, they are used to secure the motor / tube / box assembly in position.
