Power options

The LS40 motor replacement kit + adapters is available in 4 motor strength options:

• 4 Nm (Somfy ARIES COURT 1021371 - 4/16)
• 4 Nm (Somfy ARIES 1021387 - 4/16)
• 9 Nm (Somfy MARS 1023336- 9/16)
• 13 Nm (Somfy VULCAN 1024186 - 13/10)

The general ratio for motor power is 1Nm lifts 2Kg, you can estimate your shutter curtain weight with the below formula:

width (m) x height (m) x weight* (per m2)

* PVC: 4kg/m² or ALU: 4.5kg/m²

Small + reliable

• 40 round cage
• Double insulated class II motor (no earth wire).
• Round head with 29mm fixing center distance. Hole ø 12mm.
• Made for use in a tube in a horizontal position.
• Supplied with a white 3-conductor WF cable of 2m50. Non-removable connector. Axial or radial cable outlet. For intermittent use.
• Motor without square of 10 on the head.

Options for the most common wheel & crown adapters are available to add to your motor kit.

If your tube model does not match any of them, many other adaptation models are available sold seperately on the site.

Note: The choice of adapters offered in the LS40 motor replacement kit cannot be interchanged.
